ADSENSE

Something Stinks!

I have had a couple of Adsense ads running on my blog - never received any feedback (lolly) from them. In fact I have never taken notice of what they were advertising.

Tonight I noticed that they were both promoting Islam - the religion of peace.

That is the last time I'll have anything to do with Adsense

OH Dear

The greatest period of world-wide growth, in my life, wasted by 7 years of an unimaginative labour goverment who will bite off their collective nose to spite their face because it is against their principles to give the people of New Zealand a tax cut. In the last 7 yaers the productive people of our society have had to fork out increasinly more, in direct or indirect taxes, to support more and more people who are being tied into a beneficiary mindset just so that the vile ideology of these socialists can prevail.

The extent to which they will go to control people, their lives, their ability to raise children; and to control the minds of the children of New Zealand, is nauseating. And yet it is done with one sleight of hand after another under the guise of 'we are doing it for your good'.

Wake up New Zealand, this government is your enemy. Without them we would all have been better off both socially and financially. Without them you would still get the financial assistance you need in dire circumstances, but your need for it would be decreased. Without them you would be free, free of restrictive PC legislation, free to raise your children as you wish, free to save your money as you would like and we would all be richer and happier.

Political Interference

South African rugby is finding it's feet again after years of turbulence since sporting and cultural isolation following the Gleneagles agreement, handover of power by the all white National Party government to the black ANC, quotas of players from black communities and political dictat as to whom may play. This was shown this last weekend as the S14 quarter-finalists battled it out in front of 100 000 SA fans.

To sour these sweet victories, the politicians have been at it again. A Springbok squad of 45 was expected to be announced but at the last moment popular Stormers captain Luke Watson was added as player number 46. This was done without Springbok coach Jake White's knowledge.

Watson is considered to be a disruptive player, not a team player and not as good as others in his position by White. Many of the senoir Springboks have expressed the same worries.

What makes this political interference most unusual is that Watson is a white player. However he is very popular with the ANC goverment as his father went against the National Party goverment in the 70's and 80's and illegally went into the black townships to coach rugby to young black kids.

The bloggers at kiwiblog have gone rabid. Since DPF published his comment on the latest Investigate Magazine article all the rantings from left and right have poured in.

Quite honestly I couldn't be bothered to read past the first few predictable responses.

If Wishart has written anything libellous about anybody, then let them take him to court. If not, the Government has a lot to answer for and should not be allowed to fob off any questions about their knowledge of these crimes.

What goes on in a private house, at a private party, as long as it is consensual, is none of our business. However when our law makers and law enforcers either break the law or are complicit in hiding or defending criminals, they themselves should face the full force of the law.

Bye-bye Helen

T3 poll reveals that John Keys is now the preferred Prime Minister, and that National are streaks ahead and could almost govern on their own (still need ACT and Dunne who are well down in the polls).
On top of this are all the 'revelations' from Ian Wishart in Investigate Magazine. If any of these are correct they will shake the very foundations of the police force and reveal the complicity of a corrupt Labour party and their dishonest politicians in hiding their foul behaviour.
This is a young team that promises so much and, at last, are begining to show their class. Next week they face the powerful Bulls in the S14 final. Go Sharks!

The ill-effects of party pills

Because of their innocuous names and because they are taken orally there is a growing acceptance of the use of chemical substances to facilitate a biochemical change in brain function, or what is usually called 'a high'.

In todays Herald there is a good piece on some of the problems related to these 'party pills'.

http://www.nzherald.co.nz/section/story.cfm?c_id=204&objectid=10439201

Meanwhile a Wellington-based major clinical trial on party pills and their active ingredients BZP and TFMPP, was pulled late last year after 35 of its planned 64 subjects reacted so badly it was too dangerous to continue.

"We were concerned about the nature and severity of the adverse events range of side effects from anxiety to panic attacks, headaches and migraines, through to vomiting," says Professor Richard Beasley of the New Zealand Medical Research Institute who directed the trial - the first clinical trial in the world.

When a trial like this is terminated it is for ethical reasons. Having identified that the drugs are causing harm, the trial has to be terminated to prevent causation of further harm.

Also introduced in this article is the 'gate-way' theory where it has been identified that taking 'softer' drugs leads to taking 'harder' drugs. What causes this is uncertain but it could be due to an alteration to the chemical composition of the brain.

Banning these substances is not going to work, as it it will just drive these 'businessmen' underground. They are quite simply making too much profit to give up destroying so many young lives.
